Free to choose

Jena is a carbon gravel bike, designed to give you more freedom of choice when you go out for a ride. Jena was designed to satisfy any of your needs, whether it is performance on dirt roads and single track, or adventure, exploration, and bikepacking.

Jena is a light, reactive, and easy-to-handle bike with racing-comfort geometries, and able to adapt to the multiple uses required of a gravel bike.

Racing comfort geometries

Jena's 60TON monocoque carbon frame comes in 5 sizes (from XS to XL) with geometries that allow a high level of comfort, without sacrificing reactivity and performance, which is very close to the one of Wilier's racing bikes.
The head tube, with a more open angle, ensures riding quality and stability also on the most difficult tracks. On the other hand, the rear triangle was designed to have a more distinct response to vertical stress, absorbing thus great part of the vibrations generated by the ground imperfections.

Usability

There are no limits on Jena usability and to the available configurations. The span between frame / fork and wheels allows you to install generous tyres on 28” wheels or MTB wheels with a 650B diameter. With 28” wheels you can install tyres up to 44 mm wide, whereas in case of 650B MTB wheels, you can even install 48 mm wide tyres, which is equivalent to 1.95” (tested on Vittoria tyre).

There are numerous available supports that allow the installation of bottle holders, bags, carriers or mudguards. On the front fork, for example, you can install two bottle holders or one lowrider carrier for bags.

Flatmount disc brakes

Jena is available only with flat mount disc brake. The standard installed rotor has a 160 mm diameter. The wheel through pins have a 12mm diameter, 100mm long on the front fork and 142mm on the rear one.

Kamm tail design

An aerodynamic oblique tube was developed for Jena. This gives the classic truncated tail shape of Wilier's aerodynamic frames.

Removable derailleur support

The derailleur support can be removed in case of single ring group, which is a transmission widely used by gravel enthusiasts. In any moment, you can choose a solution with double or single crankset, without compromising on the bike look.

Excellent read with logic and a touch of physics.
Format: Hardcover
Quick read in a smaller designed book. It’s like Neil is talking with you in one of his many discussions, touched with his humor. Relies on physics and explanation of what it is we know for sure. I really enjoyed the book, and now possess reasoning of the topic. Wish I could say more, but don’t want to be a spoiler.

When a pop-science author with a sense of humor alienates half his readership because ...
Format: Hardcover
This is a short but interesting and truly fascinating book, and I liked the author's description of what to do with your first alien encounter. IN part because my wife and I are writing a novel on a famous UFO encounter that occurred in rural Kentucky in 1955, and gave us the term "little green men. " I used to write for UFO Magazine, and have written books on the subject that were NOT novels, but factual (as I see them) real encounters with something Not of This Earth. How this author addressed these incidents is a hoot. Or it was ... This book remined me of Max Brook's first book on Zombies, yhe one that led up to his World War Z book. HOWEVER, at some point, this otherwise interesting Astro-physicist felt he had to vent his own personal political spleen for or against Trump. I was NOT interested in his views - I imagine if he reads my forthcoming book on UFOs, or the next one in the queue, on how to market and promote your books, he won't be interested in my political beliefs (almost certainly I'm either too far to the Left or too far to the Right for his taste). I thought he was brilliant. Now I see him "alienating" half of his potential reading audience, which isn't at all brilliant. It might even be "dumb as a tree stump." It's different from some authors/scholars - for instance, military historian Victor Davis Hansen of the Hoover Institute at Stanford University has written a book about his political preference, and does a daily (or more frequent} video blog on the subject, but when he sets out to dissect the Peloponnesian Wars or the current war on Iranian terror, he treats these as an historian, and not as an opinionated political activist. He may offend or reinforce my historical views, but when it comes to his areas of expertise (his recent World Wars Two book about how WW-II was really five or six different wars going on at the same time) is brilliant, regardless of his political views, which are not material to his remarkable historical scholarship. The author of Take Me To Your Leader should have taken a page from VDH's book (literally and figuratively). I'm not sure I can actually go back to where I left off and still appreciate what this scientist says about UFOs and aliens (tongue firmly planted in cheek - it's a funny book) without fuming about his political views. Our nation is so politically divided that I would say to all writers - unless they're writing about politics, don't show your views to your reader - you'll P.O. half of them, at least. Oh, well, it was fun (and funny) while it lasted.
